We had a fantastic evening at the VIBES Opening Reception for the incoming Peabody Computer Music students. We had a great turnout, some awesome presentations about current students' work, and interactive workshops with some of our studio's most unique equipment. Thank you so much to those who came; we were glad to have some help eating our food! We wanted to post some of our favorite pictures and media from the event. Below are two videos of Sam Hoch's presentations on his interactive synth installation and one (of two!) Peabody Computer Music's Moogs, taken by Event Consultant Yian Hwang. Below that are some wonderful pictures, taken by photographer and current Peabody tenor, Mofan Lai. There are some great photos of students using our VR system, exploring an environment created by Alex Ringo as part of a larger video game with an adaptive and intricate sound and visual design.
